Michael Learns To Rock achieved international acclaim with their debut album, ‘Michael Learns to Rock,’ released in September 1991, which saw the single ‘The Actor’ top the Danish charts and achieve widespread success across Norway, Sweden, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines. The band, known for its soft rock and pop rock sound, cemented its global presence with their second album, ‘Colours,’ released in October 1993, selling over 1.1 million records worldwide. This album featured popular singles such as ‘Sleeping Child,’ ’25 Minutes,’ and ‘Out of the Blue.’ For ’25 Minutes,’ MLTR received ‘The Best Performing Act of the Year’ award in 1994 at the SEA Grammy Awards in Singapore, followed by the ‘Gold Preis’ from German radio station RSH in 1995.
