Nicole Zuraitis

Nicole Zuraitis is a GRAMMY-winning jazz singer-songwriter and pianist, establishing herself as a leading voice in contemporary jazz. She shares her expertise through performances and educational initiatives, including her role as a vocal faculty member at NYU and SUNY Purchase. After earning a GRAMMY Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album for her 2024 release How Love Begins, Nicole Zuraitis has solidified her position as a leading voice in contemporary jazz as a singer-songwriter and pianist. Zuraitis began her professional musical journey after receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from New York University in 2007, transitioning to jazz songwriting in New York City by 2009.

She has graced the stages of prestigious venues and festivals worldwide, including the Newport Jazz Festival, Dizzy’s Club at Lincoln Center, and the Blue Note Jazz Club. Beyond her dynamic performance career, Zuraitis is deeply committed to music education, sharing her expertise as a vocal faculty member at institutions such as NYU, SUNY Purchase, and the Litchfield Jazz Camp. In 2024, Post University further recognized her contributions, awarding her an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters. Zuraitis’s influence in the jazz world continues to grow, evidenced by her recognition in DownBeat’s Annual Critics Polls as a ‘Rising Star, Female Vocalist of the Year’ in both 2024 and 2025.

Demonstrating her commitment to social causes, she produced a self-funded music festival and activism day for Save the Sound.Org, strategically coinciding with the release of her GRAMMY-winning album How Love Begins. These ongoing endeavors underscore Zuraitis’s multifaceted impact as a performer, educator, and advocate, firmly establishing her as a formidable force in contemporary music.
