Nxworries

NxWorries, pronounced “no worries,” is a musical superduo established in 2015, composed of recording artist Anderson .Paak and record producer Knxwledge. Both artists were already established in their individual careers when they began collaborating. Their partnership was initiated through Stones Throw Records, leading to their first release, “Suede,” on February 10, 2015. This track, which sampled Gil Scott-Heron’s “The Bottle,” quickly gained a significant following, accumulating millions of listens across SoundCloud and YouTube. The duo’s early work demonstrated a blend of sounds that resonated with a broad audience.

The initial success of “Suede” paved the way for more collaborative efforts. In August 2015, NxWorries joined rappers Earl Sweatshirt and Remy Banks on the ‘Ready to Leave Now Tour,’ further solidifying their presence in the music scene. The accompanying music video for “Suede” was released in August 2015, followed by another track, “Link Up,” which premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show in December 2015. Their debut EP, “Link Up & Suede,” was released on December 4, 2015, through Stones Throw Records. A music video for “Link Up” was subsequently released in March 2016, featuring notable cameos.

NxWorries continued their momentum, announcing the completion of their debut album on June 19, 2016. The album, titled “Yes Lawd!,” was officially released on October 14, 2016. Following a period of individual projects, NxWorries resumed their collaborative work, with Knxwledge’s 2020 album “1988” featuring Anderson .Paak on the track “itkanbe[sonice].” By October 2020, they confirmed work on a second album, which saw its first single, “Where I Go” featuring H.E.R., released in October 2022, followed by “Daydreaming” in May 2023. Their second studio album, “Why Lawd?”, was released on June 7, 2024, and subsequently won a Grammy Award for Best Progressive R&B Album in 2025.
