Tendai + Glen

Tendai Humphrey Sitima, a Zimbabwean-born singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and RADA-trained actor, collaborates with Glen Andrew Brown, a BAFTA Award-winning British-born composer, sound designer, and audio post-production engineer. Together, they form Tendai + Glen, a London-based duo recognized for their unique sound that merges deep grooves, jazz harmonies, and poetic lyrics. Their musical style reflects influences from jazz, soul, pop, and R&B, creating an intimate and personal experience that touches upon universal themes such as love, identity, and resilience. They focus on creating music that is both honest and reflective of contemporary experiences.

Their work extends beyond performance and into composition for theatre and video games. Tendai + Glen composed and produced the original score for the critically acclaimed West End adaptation of ‘The Great Gatsby’, where Tendai also performed as George Wilson. Glen’s individual contributions include composing music for PlayStation titles, including ‘Returnal’ and ‘God of War’. Tendai is an accomplished actor, having starred in ‘The Play That Goes Wrong’ at the Duchess Theatre and currently in ‘A Strange Loop’ at London’s Barbican. The duo’s recent release, ‘If I’d Been Honest’, showcases their ability to craft anthemic neo-pop tracks designed for large audiences, characterized by dynamic musical shifts and a powerful message about self-worth. They are committed to creating music that resonates emotionally and connects with listeners on a profound level, drawing from their diverse backgrounds and experiences in the arts.
