Wallice Hana Watanabe is an American singer-songwriter known for her indie pop and alternative rock sound, recognized for her ability to create engaging narratives in her music. After her single ‘Punching Bag’ gained considerable traction in 2020, accumulating four million streams and a feature on Spotify’s prominent ‘Lorem’ playlist, Wallice went on to establish herself as a distinctive voice in indie pop and alternative rock. Wallice first embarked on her musical journey after departing The New School, where she pursued jazz performance and voice, to focus on her full-time music career. Collaborating with long-time friend and producer Marinelli, she released her debut single ‘Nyc’ in 2017, followed by ‘Rx’ in 2018.

She also released her EP ‘Mr. Big Shot’ in 2023, showcasing her consistent output and artistic evolution. 2024 marked a pivotal moment with the release of Wallice’s highly anticipated debut studio album, ‘The Jester.’ The album was preceded by a series of compelling singles throughout the year, including ‘Heaven Has To Happen,’ ‘The Opener,’ ‘Gut Punch Love,’ and ‘I Want You Yesterday,’ all contributing to the build-up of her full-length project.
