Orlando Higginbottom, who performs as TEED, has established himself as an electronic musician and producer. His career began gaining traction in the electronic music scene several years prior to the release of his debut album. He gained initial recognition among dance-music audiences and was signed to Joe Goddard’s Greco-Roman label. His work caught the attention of Radio 1 DJs, and he was invited by Damon Albarn to record an album for Warp in the Congo, signaling early industry recognition for his distinct sound.

TEED’s debut album, “Trouble,” was released in 2012, marking a significant milestone in his career. The album established his presence within the electronic music genre and broadened his audience. Higginbottom’s live performances incorporate unique visual elements, including costumes with feathers, which became an identifiable aspect of his stage presence. Throughout his career, he has toured and performed at various festivals and clubs, contributing to the dance music landscape.

More recently, TEED released the album “Always With Me” in 2025. This project involved a refined production approach, utilizing a simple studio setup reflective of his early work. The album’s creation involved a focus on personal reflection and the influence of his teenage years, allowing for a creative process that resulted in tracks such as “Desire,” “Always With Me,” and “Ascent.” His work spans original compositions, remixes, and DJ mixes, demonstrating a consistent output within the electronic music sphere.
