Juan Luis Morera Luna, known professionally as Wisin, is a dynamic force in reggaeton and Latin pop music. Born on December 19, 1978, in Puerto Rico, Wisin has carved out an influential career as a rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He gained prominence as one half of the globally celebrated reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel. Their early work, including three gold albums from 2000 to 2004, set the stage for their breakthrough with the 2005 album *Pa’l Mundo*, which elevated them to international stardom.

Wisin & Yandel continued their successful run with hit albums like *La Revolución* (2010) and *Líderes* (2012), but the duo went on hiatus after nearly a decade of chart-topping success. During this period, Wisin launched a successful solo career, starting with *El Regreso del Sobreviviente* in 2014. His subsequent albums, including *Los Vaqueros: La Trilogía* (2015) and *Victory* (2017), achieved platinum status, affirming his strong presence in the Latin music scene.

Despite the global pandemic, Wisin remained active, releasing a dozen singles in 2020 and continuing his collaborative efforts with top artists. His fifth solo album, *Los Legendarios 001* (2021), debuted at number eight on the U.S. Latin Albums chart, followed by the 2022 release *Multimillo, Vol. 1*. Notable singles from these projects include “Tiempo” and “MI EXXX,” showcasing his versatility and enduring appeal.

In addition to his music career, Wisin launched his own label, La Base Music, in 2020, aiming to mentor emerging talent.
