A. Martinez is an American actor and singer, recognized for his notable roles in daytime soap operas and primetime dramas. After earning a Daytime Emmy Award in 1990 for his acclaimed portrayal of Cruz Castillo on the daytime soap opera ‘Santa Barbara’, A. Martinez established himself as a prominent actor in the entertainment industry.

His extensive filmography includes appearances in ‘The Cowboys’ (1972) and the acclaimed independent feature ‘Powwow Highway’ (1989). Demonstrating his versatility beyond acting, Martinez also released a CD, ‘Fragrance & Thorn’, on Magic House Records. He further contributed to film as an associate producer for ‘California Winter’ in 2012 and as a writer and producer for the short film ‘Before Your Eyes’ in 2014.
