Best known as an artist who designs and builds LEGO models, Aaron Newman is also a photographer. Newman has been a huge fan of LEGO since he was really young. He began building with LEGOs since he was able to hold an object or strengthening his motors skills. Newman found the way to his future by putting together his talent for arts and his love for building with LEGOs and growing himself from an enthusiast into a dedicated brick artist. He sees LEGO as a flexible and infinite way of creating. His work is divided into many genres, such as brick-ifying icons to capturing life, exploring fantasy to product design. He uses these so called plastic pieces to put together contemporary social commentary. In 2020, Newman was a contestant in the United States’ first season of LEGO Masters. This competition was a reality-format building competition show. His astonishing work was highlighted all over, from The Ellen Degeneres Show, Netflix, DisneyXD, news channels and newspapers. His creations were featured all around the world and the internet. Headlining everywhere from the number 1 LEGO fan blog, The Brothers Brick, to geek culture hub IGN. Newman is also a self-taught photographer. He designs frmo his home studio, where he is surrounded by bins of parts. He enjoys listening to music or audio books while he is working on his creations so he can stay focused for longer periods of time.
