Adam Rowe was born on January 11, 1992, and raised in the Dovecot and West Derby areas of Liverpool, England. He began his higher education pursuing a mathematics degree at the University of Liverpool but chose to discontinue his studies to pursue a career in stand-up comedy. His comedic journey started at the age of 18 in June 2010, quickly gaining recognition within the comedy circuit. In 2011, Rowe was named Comedian of the Year by Liverpool’s Hot Water Comedy Club, marking an early career milestone.
Rowe’s career progression has included touring his stand-up shows extensively, notably “Undeniable” in 2018 and “Pinnacle” in 2019, both receiving positive critical reception. In 2018, he gained wider public recognition by winning the Funniest Joke of the Fringe award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for his joke about working at a Jobcentre. Concurrent with his stand-up, Rowe co-hosts the “Have A Word” podcast with fellow comedian Dan Nightingale.
