Adrianne Palicki is an American actress best known for her role as Commander Kelly Grayson in Fox’s Emmy-nominated sci-fi series The Orville, and her roles in Friday Night Lights, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and John Wick.
Prior to Ohio-born Palicki winning her breakout role as Tyra Collette in Friday Night Lights, the actress appeared in Smallville, Quintuplets, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, North Shore, Popstar, Supernatural and South Beach, quickly becoming a recognised and beloved television regular.
In 2006, Palicki was cast in the three-time Primetime Emmy-award winning sports drama series Friday Night Lights as Tyra, which catapulted her to stardom. It was a role she kept for the show’s five-season run; in the years since Palicki has continued to be a mainstay in America’s most popular television shows. In 2014, Palicki was cast as Bobbi Morse in Emmy-nominated series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., where she remained part of the principle cast, and a fan favourite, until the competition of the third season.
On the big screen, Palicki is best known for her roles as Jaye in G.I. Joe: Retaliation and Ms. Perkins in John Wick; additional credits include Seven Mummies, Women in Trouble, Legion, Elektra Luxx, Red Dawn, Coffee Town, Baby, Baby, Baby, and S.W.A.T.: Under Siege. Palicki’s additional television credits include Winter Tales, Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode II, Titan Maximum, Family Guy, Lone Star, Criminal Minds, Wonder Woman, Waves, Robot Chicken, Drunk History, and About a Boy.
Today, Palicki stars as Commander Kelly Grayson in the science fiction comedy-drama The Orville; the popular show’s highly-anticipated third series recently launched on Hulu, much to the excitement of Palicki’s fans.
