Derek Phillips is an accomplished actor recognized for his roles in television, film, and video games, notably transitioning from dramatic series to prominent voice acting work. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting, Derek Phillips established a strong foundation in regional theater and television. His notable stage appearances include The Winter’s Tale (Baltimore Center Stage), Of Mice and Men (Dallas Theater Center), The Glass Menagerie (Virginia Stage Company), and King o’ The Moon (Capital Repertory Theatre). Phillips also secured recurring roles in prominent television soap operas such as The Guiding Light, As the World Turns, and All My Children, honing his craft before his breakout television success.
Demonstrating versatility, Phillips also voices the main character, Heron, in the Netflix animated series Blood of Zeus, which premiered in 2020 and is slated to run through 2025.
