Ahmed Hamed was born on June 1, 1997, in Cairo, Egypt. He has established himself as a distinguished athlete in modern pentathlon, a multi-discipline sport involving fencing, swimming, equestrian show jumping, and a combined event of pistol shooting and cross-country running. Hamed’s career began to show promise in his youth, with early participation in various competitions including the European Youth A Championships and the UIPM Tetrathlon U19 World Championships. His dedication led to a significant early achievement in 2015 when he secured a gold medal in the Team-relay Mix category at the UIPM 2015 Tetrathlon U19 World Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This early success set the stage for his continued progression in the sport.
Throughout his senior career, Hamed has consistently achieved high rankings and podium finishes in numerous UIPM (Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne) events.
