Alex Bregman

Alex Bregman is a highly decorated infielder known for his exceptional offensive and defensive skills, transitioning from a celebrated college career to multiple World Series championships and All-Star selections in Major League Baseball. After becoming the first high school player to win the USA Baseball Player of the Year Award in 2010, Alex Bregman went on to establish himself as one of Major League Baseball’s most decorated infielders. During his high school career, he led his team to a state championship in 2009 while batting .514, and in 2010, he batted .564 for the gold-medal-winning 16-and-under USA National Team. He set a New Mexico season record with 19 home runs in 2011 before being drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 29th round of the 2012 MLB June Amateur Draft, a selection he deferred to attend Louisiana State University.

Most recently, in 2025, Bregman signed with the Boston Red Sox, where he made his third All-Star appearance in his inaugural year with the team, earned AL Player of the Week honors in April, and hit his 200th career home run.
