Reusch announced a long-term collaboration with Alisson Becker, making him a brand ambassador for their goalkeeper gloves. The partnership includes the development of signature gloves like the Attrakt Duo AB1, inspired by his Brazilian heritage. This move marked a switch from his previous sponsorship with Nike.
Alisson Becker was appointed as a goodwill ambassador by the World Health Organization in May 2019. He advocates for promoting physical activity, particularly among children, and has actively supported initiatives for proactive care of mental health alongside his wife, Natália Loewe.
Alisson Becker participated as the protagonist in a campaign for Gillette in support of the Movember campaign, aimed at raising awareness for men's health issues.
Alisson Ramses Becker, born on October 2, 1992, in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil, developed his skills within the SC Internacional academy starting in 2002. He made his senior debut for Internacional in 2013 and remained with the club for four years, during which time he secured the Campeonato Gaúcho title in each season. His consistent performance led to a transfer to AS Roma in July 2016. In his second season with Roma, he established himself as the primary goalkeeper, earning recognition as the Serie A Goalkeeper of the Year for the 2017-18 season. His contributions were instrumental in Roma reaching the UEFA Champions League semi-finals that year.
In July 2018, Alisson moved to Liverpool FC, becoming the most expensive goalkeeper at that time with a transfer fee of £66.8 million. He quickly demonstrated his value by becoming a key player in Liverpool’s successes. His first season saw him win the Premier League Golden Glove with 21 clean sheets and play a critical role in Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League triumph in 2019. He continued to be central to the team’s achievements, including winning the Premier League title in the 2019-20 season and the FIFA Club World Cup in 2019. His career with Liverpool has since included additional major trophies, such as the FA Cup and League Cup in 2022, and another Premier League title in 2024-25.
Alisson’s international career with Brazil began with his senior debut in 2015. He represented Brazil at multiple FIFA World Cups and Copa América tournaments. Notably, he was part of the squad that won the Copa América in 2019, where he received the Best Goalkeeper Award. His playing style is characterized by strong reflexes, shot-stopping, effective positioning, and precise distribution. He is acknowledged for his composed demeanor and proficiency in one-on-one situations, contributing to his status as one of global football’s elite goalkeepers.
