Allan Avendano

Allan Avendano is a makeup artist known for his work with celebrities and his contributions to fashion and beauty editorials. After dedicating himself to mastering the craft through self-study and practical application, Allan Avendano established himself as a prominent makeup artist, working for three years as a freelance artist for MAC Cosmetics before expanding his expertise to an extensive roster of celebrities, fashion and beauty editorials, advertising campaigns, and television projects. His early work for television networks included TV Guide, E!, Animal Planet, MTV, VH1, and Bravo. Avendano also served as a makeup artist for the acclaimed series ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ from 2013 to 2018 and contributed to ‘Modern Family’ in 2014.

Most recently, Avendano completed work on the 2024 feature film ‘Uglies’ and is engaged in upcoming projects for 2025, including the Betsey Johnson F/W 2025 Campaign, the L’Officiel Chile April 2025 Covers, the L’Officiel Argentina April 2025 Digital Cover, and the Christina Ricci: figura pública L’Officiel Argentina Editorial. Beyond his commercial work, Avendano is committed to charitable endeavors, collaborating with Project Angel Food and supporting The Chrysalis Foundation and the MAC AIDS Fund. Annually, he provides makeup for performers and celebrities at ‘Broadway Bares’ in New York City, raising funds for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.
