Charlotte Tilbury is a British beauty entrepreneur and makeup artist known for founding Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Ltd., a globally recognized makeup and skincare brand. After launching her highly influential YouTube channel and blog ‘Charlotte’s Beauty Secrets’ in October 2012, Charlotte Tilbury went on to establish Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Ltd. in 2013. The brand made its debut at Selfridges in London, quickly expanding its presence.

Tilbury also serves as the makeup director for major Fashion Weeks in New York, Milan, Paris, and London, for prestigious brands like Prada and McQueen. Her expertise has led to partnerships with acclaimed designers such as Tom Ford and Burberry on beauty campaigns, and she previously held the role of creative director for Helena Rubinstein. Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Ltd. continued its impressive growth, expanding its international footprint through major retailers like Sephora and MECCA in Australia and New Zealand.

In recognition of her significant contributions to the beauty and cosmetics industry, Tilbury was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2018 Queen’s Birthday Honours List. This accolade further solidified her standing as a transformative figure in the global beauty landscape. In June 2020, Tilbury partnered with the Spanish fashion and fragrance company Puig, which acquired a majority stake in Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Ltd. Tilbury retained a significant minority stake in the business and continues to lead its creative and strategic direction in her pivotal roles as Chairman, President, and Chief Creative Officer.

Most recently, in December 2023, Tilbury received the coveted Special Recognition Award at The Fashion Awards, underscoring her ongoing influence and celebrated legacy within the fashion and beauty industries.
