About

Alistair Law, commonly known as Ally Law, was born on February 12, 1997, in Southampton, England. His early education included attending Oasis Academy Mayfield, which he left in 2013. Prior to starting parkour at the age of 16, Law described himself as unhappy and addicted to video games. He is also a qualified carpenter. Law launched his YouTube channel in December 2014, with his initial video showcasing his parkour activities atop buildings in Southampton city centre, filmed using a GoPro camera.

Law gained local media attention in December 2015 for his stunts, particularly after scaling Dumbleton Towers in Southampton. His pursuits have led him to climb in numerous international locations, including Melbourne, Dubai, Bangkok, Barcelona, and Los Angeles, targeting landmarks like La Sagrada Familia and Tour First. Beyond climbing, Law is known for his “overnight challenges,” where he and friends attempt to stay in commercial properties after closing hours. These activities have drawn significant public, political, and police criticism regarding safety and legality.

Following incidents of trespassing at Thorpe Park in July 2017 and twice at the Celebrity Big Brother house in January 2018, Law received a five-year criminal behaviour order. This order prohibits him from trespassing on bridges, buildings not open to the public, or business properties outside operating hours within England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. He also faces a lifetime ban from all Merlin Entertainments properties. In March 2019, Law was sentenced to 120 hours of community work for the Celebrity Big Brother break-ins. In December 2019, Law participated in an MMA match, where he lost by majority decision to Joseph Henderson.
