Ambyr Childers was born in Cottonwood, Arizona, and raised in Murrieta, California. Her acting career began with an appearance in the 2003 film “Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star.” She later gained recognition for her portrayal of Colby Chandler on the daytime soap opera “All My Children” from 2006 to 2008. Childers expanded her filmography with a role as Elizabeth “E” Dodd in the 2012 film “The Master,” which further established her presence in the industry. Her career demonstrates a consistent engagement across both television and film.

Childers continued to build her acting portfolio with significant roles on television. She played Ashley Rucker in the Showtime crime drama “Ray Donovan” from 2013 to 2016, appearing in 9 episodes. Subsequently, she took on the role of Susan Atkins/Sadie in the NBC crime drama “Aquarius,” featuring in 10 episodes between 2015 and 2016. A notable turning point in her career came with her recurring role as Candace Stone in the Lifetime/Netflix thriller series “You,” which started in 2018. Due to her impact on the series, she was promoted to a series regular for the second season, appearing in a total of 14 episodes. Her work on “You” brought her widespread attention.
