Deshae Frost, a Seattle native, displayed an early interest in entertainment, beginning at the age of 8. Initially pursuing music under the rap name “D-Frost,” he also wrote movie scripts in his early years. At 13, his mother recognized his ability to tell humorous stories and encouraged him to explore stand-up comedy. This led to his first open mic performance at a local comedy club in Seattle, marking the beginning of his stage career.
By the age of 16, Frost had become an internet sensation through self-written and self-directed comedy sketches shared on social media. His performances garnered a wide audience, spanning various age groups. During this period, he also had the opportunity to open for established comedians, including Faizon Love, Tony Roberts, and Tiffany Haddish. Expanding his career into acting, Frost secured roles in television productions, including a co-starring position in Adult Swim’s “Black Jesus” in 2015 and a guest star role in CBS’s “S.W.A.T.” from 2017 to 2021, where he played Darryl Henderson in 24 episodes. His acting credits also include “Angie Tribeca” (2018) and the short film “Hired” (2021), further diversifying his professional portfolio.
