Andrea Mitchell

Andrea Mitchell is an American television journalist and news anchor, widely recognized for her extensive career as NBC News’ Chief Foreign Affairs and Chief Washington Correspondent. After establishing herself as a dynamic reporter in Philadelphia for KYW radio, where she served as City Hall correspondent during Mayor Frank Rizzo’s administration, and for KYW-TV, Andrea Mitchell transitioned to national news, joining CBS affiliate WTOP in Washington, D.C. in 1976.
