Angela Trimbur

Angela Trimbur was born on July 19, 1981, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1999, having been homeschooled prior to that. Her career began in reality television, featuring on MTV’s “Road Rules: X-Treme” and “Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Battle of the Sexes 2.” Following her reality TV appearances, Trimbur transitioned into acting, training at Sanford Meisner’s Playhouse West for scene study and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre for improv in Los Angeles. Her early work included guest roles in television series such as “Entourage” and “Hannah Montana.”

Trimbur’s acting portfolio expanded with roles in various film and television projects. Notable film appearances include Harley David in “Halloween II” (2009), Sassy in “Freak Dance” (2010), and Tina in the horror comedy “The Final Girls” (2015), a role for which she received praise. She also played Isabel in “Trash Fire” (2016), earning a Fangoria Chainsaw Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. On television, she has appeared in “Search Party” (2022) as Elodie, “The Good Place” (2016-2020) as Madison, and “NCIS: Los Angeles” (2020) as Janice Eckhart. Trimbur has also showcased her writing skills, contributing to “Mirror Party” (2023) and “UCB Comedy Originals” (2007–2020), and her choreography expertise, notably as choreographer for “Under the Silver Lake” (2018) and dance advisor for “Horse Girl” (2020).

Beyond her on-screen work, Trimbur is recognized for her contributions to dance and community building. In 2014, she founded the L.A. City Municipal Dance Squad, an inclusive women’s performance group that performs at local events. She also developed “Slightly Guided Dance Party” workshops, held at venues like the Museum of Contemporary Art, encouraging intuitive movement. In July 2018, Trimbur was diagnosed with breast cancer. After treatment, she began hosting virtual breast cancer support groups on Marco Polo, fostering a supportive community for other survivors. This initiative, along with her dance work, highlights her commitment to creating positive social impact.
