Tommie Laron Holsey, known professionally as Angeria Paris VanMicheals, was born on July 25, 1993, in Sparta, Georgia. After completing high school, she relocated to Valdosta, Georgia, where she developed her passion for drag. Her drag style is characterized by pageantry, glamour, and a Southern aesthetic. She began competing in drag pageants in 2015.
Demonstrating her aptitude for competitive drag, Angeria Paris VanMicheals was crowned Black America Jr. Miss in 2019. In 2022, she gained broader recognition as a contestant on the fourteenth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, where she achieved third place overall. During her time on the show, she secured two challenge wins and notably released her debut single, “Call Me Angie.
Her career continued to progress with appearances in television and web series, including a guest role on Dynasty and a feature in the WOW Presents Plus spin-off, Painting with Raven. In 2023, she participated as a Lip Sync Assassin in RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 8. Her most significant win came in 2024 when she returned to compete on the ninth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, ultimately winning the competition.
