Anne Curtis-Smith was born on February 17, 1985, in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia. Her career began at the age of 12 with a role in the fantasy drama ‘Magic Kingdom: Ang Alamat ng Damortis’ in 1997. Following this debut, she signed with Viva Films and GMA Network, making her television appearance in the drama series ‘Ikaw na Sana’. Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, Curtis took on various minor and supporting roles in films such as ‘Honey, My Love… So Sweet’ (1999) and ‘Ika-13 Kapitulo’ (2000), as well as TV shows like ‘May Bukas Pa’ (2000-2001) and ‘Anna Karenina’ (2001-2002).
In 2004, Curtis transitioned to ABS-CBN, which marked a significant turning point in her career. Her breakthrough came in 2005 when she starred as the lead in the fantasy television series ‘Kampanerang Kuba’.
