Anne Winters

Anne Winters was born Anne Christine Winters on June 3, 1994, in Dallas, Texas. Her early exposure to performance began at age four with a musical production, and by ten, she performed a solo for an audience of over 24,000 at the American Airlines Center. During her high school years, Winters divided her time between Los Angeles and Dallas, where she appeared in numerous national commercials and independent films. While initially planning to attend Southern Methodist University, she chose to move to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career full-time after graduating from Prestonwood Christian Academy.

Winters has built a career in both film and television. Her television credits include main roles as Emma Al-Fayeed in FX’s “Tyrant” (2014-2016) and Vicki Roth in ABC’s “Wicked City” (2015). She also had a recurring role as Kelsey in the ABC Family/Freeform series “The Fosters” (2013-2014). In feature films, she has appeared in “Sand Castles” (2014), “Pass the Light” (2015), “The Tribe” (2016), and “Mom and Dad” (2017). Her performance in the go90 drama series “Zac & Mia” (2017-2019), where she played teenage cancer patient Mia Phillips, earned her a Daytime Emmy Award in 2018 for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Digital Daytime Drama Series.

More recently, Winters gained recognition for her role as Chlöe Rice in Netflix’s “13 Reasons Why” (2018-2020), appearing in its second, third, and fourth seasons. She also played Ingrid in the ABC drama series “Grand Hotel” (2019) and had a main role as Ensign Charly Burke in the third season of Hulu’s science fiction series “The Orville” (2022). Her career encompasses a range of genres, demonstrating her versatility as an actress.
