Notable creations include the iconic Lolita Lempicka (1997), Christian Dior’s Hypnotic Poison (1998), Bvlgari Black (1998), and Hugo Boss’s Boss Bottled (1998). Her fragrances often feature distinctive elements, like licorice in Lolita Lempicka and tarry tea in Bvlgari Black, leading some to describe her style as “dark” while embracing a broader spectrum of notes like anise and heliotrope.
In 2018, Ménardo transitioned to Symrise, continuing her impactful contributions to the fragrance industry. Her expertise extends to collaborations in olfactory art, such as creating a scent for Nobi Shioya’s “Anger” sculpture. She has received industry recognition, including the People’s Choice Award for Men’s Fragrances at Duftstars in 2023 for her work on Boss Bottled Parfum, highlighting her sustained influence and innovative spirit in perfumery.
