Anthony Cassar is a distinguished American wrestler whose career spans both collegiate and freestyle wrestling, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication to the sport. He began his wrestling journey in high school at Montgomery High School in New Jersey, where he overcame early challenges to achieve an impressive undefeated senior season, culminating in a state championship. This remarkable turnaround set the stage for his collegiate career at Penn State University, where he became a pivotal member of the wrestling team.
At Penn State, Cassar redshirted his first year but quickly made a name for himself upon returning to competition. He achieved a stellar record of 49 wins and only three losses, earning accolades such as the NCAA Division I championship and the Big Ten Conference championship. He made a successful pro MMA debut in 2022, winning by arm triangle choke, and continued to impress with a unanimous decision victory in 2023.
