The incredible Artur Adamski is a dancer and choreographer, who is best known for his time as part of the troupe on ABC’s hit reality TV show, Dancing with the Stars. He has trained some of the top dance couples in North America, and is a certified member of the Canadian Dancesport Federation and the World Dance Council as an internationally renowned coach and adjudicator.
Born and raised in Toronto, Adamski started ballroom dancing when he was 10-years-old. He trained under the guidance of world-renowned coaches and further honed his dancing skills at the Cawthra School of the Arts where he studied many other dance styles, including classical ballet, modern, and jazz. After graduating he became a ballroom competitor and was a Canadian Finalist, a two-time French Open champion, the runner-up at the London Open, 15th at the British Open in Blackpool, and was ranked as the top North American couple, and third in North America at the Ohio Star Ball. After retiring from competitive dance, he went on to perform with other Dancing with the Stars alumni in stage productions and tours across the globe. He also appeared in Dancing with the Stars: At Sea with Holland America Line Cruises, and has danced on a number of film and TV productions, including CBC’s Kim’s Convenience, Richard Attenborough’s Closing the Ring, and ABC’S Good Morning America.
