Artur Adamski is a professional ballroom dancer, instructor, choreographer, and adjudicator with a career spanning over a decade. He received his Ontario Secondary School Diploma with a Dance Major from Cawthra Park Secondary School between 2004 and 2008. He furthered his education at the University of Toronto, earning an Honours Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Distinction in Geography Teacher Education from 2010 to 2016. Adamski is certified by the Canadian Dance Federation in both the International Ballroom and International Latin styles.
His career as a dance instructor began in January 2009, teaching at establishments such as Blueheel Dance Studios, Lechowia, and the Continental Dance Club in the Toronto, Canada Area. He also served as a Dance Instructor for the Canadian Dance Expo in August 2015 and August 2016. In January 2013, Adamski joined Dancing Pros Inc as a Professional Ballroom Dancer in the Greater Los Angeles Area. A significant milestone in his career occurred in March 2017 when he became a Professor Ballroom Dancer for ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” – BBC Worldwide Productions, based at CBS Television City.
In addition to his professional dancing and instruction, Adamski has engaged in various volunteer activities. He created an Educational Dance Video for the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board in February 2012. Since November 2013, he has served as a Judge and Performer for “Dancing with the Mississauga Stars.” He has also coached for The Hazel McCallion Arts for Life Gala since November 2012 and has been a Guest Teacher and conducted Latin-American Dancing Workshops at Robert H. Lagerquist Senior Public School since March and April 2015, respectively. He has appeared as an actor in television series such as “Kim’s Convenience” (2017) and “Private Eyes” (2019).
