About

Montana Tucker was born in Boca Raton, Florida on January 18, 1993. Her career in entertainment began at the age of eight with modeling for national commercials including BMW, Skechers, Ovaltine, and Wendy’s. During her early years, she also appeared in various music videos and television shows, such as “Barney & Friends”. By age 13, Tucker was a backup dancer for artists Ashanti and Ashlee Simpson. She further developed her dance skills by winning the World Hip Hop Dance Championship at 11 years old. Her musical journey officially began at 14, with her first public performance at the 2007 Super Bowl Pre-Game. Throughout her early career, she opened for major artists like Ciara, Pitbull, Flo Rida, and Lil Wayne and performed the National Anthem for the Hula Bowl, Miami Heat, and Florida Panther games. Her vocal talents are featured on the soundtrack for “Step Up 2 the Streets” (2008) with the song “Ain’t No Stressin’,” and her song “Candy Swirl” was included in the movie and soundtrack for “Bring It On 5” (2009).

In recent years, Montana Tucker has transitioned her platform to advocacy, focusing on combating antisemitism and all forms of hate. Her dedication to this cause is deeply personal; her maternal grandparents, Lilly and Michael Schmidmayer, were Holocaust survivors from Hungary and Romania. In June 2022, she produced and released an educational online docu-series titled “How To: Never Forget.” This 10-part series, which documented her journey to Poland with her mother, Michelle, and a visit to Auschwitz where her great-grandparents were murdered, garnered millions of views and was nominated for a Webby Award. The series brought her appearances on “Good Morning America,” “Extra TV,” “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” and features in “Variety” and “Forbes.” Following the October 7 attacks in 2023, Tucker became an active voice for Israel. She emceed the 75th Anniversary of Israel reception with VP Kamala Harris as a guest speaker, addressed 300,000 supporters at the March for Israel Rally in Washington D.C., and spoke at the National Menorah Lighting. She has also met with Israeli President Herzog, released hostages, and survivors of the Nova Music Festival. In 2024, she produced “The Children of October 7,” a documentary interviewing young victims of the attacks, which premiered at the Museum of Tolerance in Jerusalem and was picked up by Paramount+ and MTV.

Her commitment to advocacy extended to the 2024 Grammy Awards red carpet, where she wore a custom corset gown featuring a large yellow ribbon emblazoned with “Bring Them Home,” drawing international attention to the plight of Israeli hostages. This act highlighted her refusal to separate her artistic platform from her activist endeavors. Tucker has received numerous accolades for her work, including awards from FIDF, IAC, Magen David Adom, and WIZO, and special recognition from New York City Mayor Eric Adams and the City of Beverly Hills, among others. With a combined social media following of almost 14 million, predominantly Gen Z, Montana Tucker continues to use her influence as a leading voice against antisemitism and for education.
