Ashley Pollard, born in 1986 in Tasmania, grew up on the Gold Coast, Queensland. She attended All Saints Anglican School, graduating in 2003, and subsequently trained at Actors Centre Australia, graduating in 2008. Before her television career, Pollard worked in event management. Her public profile began to rise in 2015 with her appearance on the reality cooking show ‘My Kitchen Rules’, where she and her cooking partner, Camilla, achieved fourth place. This initial success provided a foundation for her subsequent engagement in various media roles.
Following ‘My Kitchen Rules’, Pollard expanded her presence in Australian reality television, participating in ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2015, where she and her dance partner secured third place. In 2017, she joined ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ for its third Australian season, lasting 40 days and finishing in seventh place. During this period, Pollard also engaged in other media ventures, including presenting recipe videos for Channel 7’s Yahoo7 Be and writing a series of weekly blogs offering life advice. Her career also extended to radio, with regular guest host appearances on 2GB’s ‘Nights with Steve Price’ in 2017 and later co-hosting a breakfast radio show on Sea FM Central Coast from 2018. She published her e-cookbook, ‘Eat Me’, in 2017, further diversifying her professional output.
In 2023, Pollard participated in the second series of ‘The Traitors Australia’ as a contestant, where she was selected as a Traitor before being eliminated in the third episode. Throughout her career, Pollard has maintained a public persona, often sharing aspects of her personal life, including her experiences as a mother to two daughters and her interests in home management, fashion, beauty, and travel.
