The multi-talented Ashley Fliehr is an American professional wrestler, author and actress. She is best known for performing as Charlotte Flair with WWE brand Raw and for being the most decorated woman in WWE, boasting twelve titles.
North Carolina-born Fliehr was born to wrestle. Daughter of WWE retired legend Ric Flair, Fliehr is a second-generation professional wrestler and comes from a family of professional wrestlers. At college, Fliehr played volleyball; she later transferred to North Carolina State University. At this time, Fliehr worked as a personal trainer and obtained a degree in public relations.
Fliehr made early appearances on the wrestling scene with her father as a teenager. In 2012, she signed a development contract with WWE, later joining NXT in Florida. She made her televised singles debut in 2013, defeating Bayley. In 2014, Fliehr had her first championship win in the WWE, winning the NXT Women’s Championship. Fliehr has replicated this success three times since and has gone on to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship five times, the NXT Championship twice and the WWE Divas Championship once.
Fliehr’s television credits as part of WWE include The Fourth Horsewomen of NXT, WWE Mixed Match Challenge, WWF Smackdown! And WWE Monday Night Raw. She continues to appear on the latter two in 2020, totalling almost three hundred episodes to date. She has also appeared in print in Sports Illustrated and ESPN Body 10 and is a playable character in video games WWE 2K17, 2K18 and 2K20.
