Audrey Gelman has established herself as a notable entrepreneur and political staffer, co-founding The Wing, a women’s co-working space and social club, and later launching The Six Bells Inn. After serving as a press aide for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign, Audrey Gelman went on to establish herself as a notable entrepreneur and political staffer. That same year, Gelman joined the New York office of the strategic consulting firm SKDKnickerbocker, further honing her expertise in communications and strategy.

By November 2017, membership expanded to approximately 1,500 individuals, coinciding with the launch of its dedicated magazine, ‘No Man’s Land,’ and an additional $32 million in Series B funding, spearheaded by WeWork. A second New York location opened in Soho by December 2017, further solidifying The Wing’s presence. Gelman’s innovative work with The Wing garnered widespread recognition, leading to features by prestigious publications such as Politico, Forbes, and Fast Company, and a cover feature on Inc. magazine in 2019.

Building on this new venture, she is set to expand The Six Bells into a full-service countryside inn in the picturesque Hudson Valley in 2025. This latest endeavor reflects Gelman’s continued commitment to creating distinctive community-focused spaces and experiences.
