Azamat Bekoev

Azamat Ruslanovich Bekoev, born on December 30, 1995, in Vladikavkaz, North Ossetia, Russia, is an accomplished professional mixed martial artist. Standing at 6’0″ and weighing 185 lbs, Bekoev, known by his nickname “Iron” and fighting out of American Top Team, primarily competes in the Middleweight division. His professional career began on September 27, 2015, where he made an immediate impact by competing in two fights on the same night at the MPF Moscow Rumble Open Cup. He secured victories in both bouts, defeating Alexander Markosyan and Alexey Maslov via first-round submissions, demonstrating his potential from the outset.

Bekoev’s career progression has seen him compete across various promotions before reaching the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). After his initial professional fights, he joined Absolute Championship Berkut (ACB), securing a submission win against Dzhabrail Yasaev in 2016. He continued to build his record with a series of impressive finishes, including two knockout victories on a single night in July 2017 against Mustafaliatif Muhammadi and Sarkhan Garaev.
