At only nineteen years old, American actress Bailee Madison has already established herself as a star of television and cinema in a career that’s nearing a decade. The actress is best known for her memorable performances Bridge to Terabithia, Brothers, and TV series The Fosters.
Madison’s screen debut came in the 2006 film Lonely Hearts, acting alongside Hollywood elites Salma Hayek, Jared Leto, James Gandolfini, and John Travolta. The very next year she appeared in four different television series before finding her breakout role, portraying May Belle Aarons in Bridge to Terabithia at just 8 years old. Madison won two Young Artist awards for her performance in the film.
Madison has been known for taking on roles that show a maturity far beyond her age, such as that of Isabelle Cahill in the drama Brothers. She has also appeared in Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, Parental Guidance, before securing a lead role in Annabelle Hooper and the Ghosts of Nantucket. Madison been a consistent presence on American television since first appearing on screen in 2006. A popular choice for casting directors, she can be seen in Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place, ABC’s Trophy Wife, The Fosters, and most recently landed a role in Hallmark’s Good Witch.
