Berenice Wicki

Berenice Wicki is a Swiss snowboarder and Olympian, recognized for her achievements in the halfpipe discipline. After securing an early career victory at the 2015–16 FIS Snowboard Europa Cup #13 in Davos in the women’s halfpipe #1 event, Berenice Wicki quickly established herself as a formidable talent in competitive snowboarding. Her rapid progression was further cemented when she earned a gold medal at the prestigious 2017 FIS Snowboarding Junior World Championships in Laax. Wicki continued to demonstrate consistent performance at the junior level, ranking 6th at the 2018 Junior World Championships in Cardrona and 5th at the 2019 Junior World Championships in Leysin, showcasing her sustained competitive ability and upward trajectory.

Wicki’s success extended into other significant competitions, including another prominent victory at the 2018–19 FIS Snowboard Europa Cup #19 in Crans-Montana in the women’s halfpipe event. In 2020, Wicki made her impactful debut on the Olympic circuit, earning a bronze medal in the girls’ halfpipe event at the Winter Youth Olympics with an impressive score of 81.33, a clear indicator of her readiness for senior competition.
