Bert Kreischer

Bert Kreischer has evolved from a ‘Number One Partier’ into a highly successful stand-up comedian, actor, and host, engaging global audiences through his unique storytelling and diverse media projects. After being featured in a prominent 1997 Rolling Stone article identifying him as ‘the top partyer at the Number One Party School in the country,’ Bert Kreischer transitioned his unique persona into a thriving career in stand-up comedy. His debut performance at Potbelly’s in Tallahassee launched a distinctive style characterized by honest and self-deprecating anecdotes. A pivotal early career moment occurred when a recording of one of his sets led to an invitation to New York City by a talent agent, followed by work at the Boston Comedy Club.

Kreischer’s most renowned story, detailing his inadvertent involvement with the Russian mafia during a college trip, earned him the enduring nickname ‘The Machine’ and later inspired a 2023 feature film. His first comedy special, Bert Kreischer: Comfortably Dumb, premiered on Comedy Central in 2009. Kreischer expanded his television presence by hosting multiple series, including Hurt Bert on FX in 2005, where he also served as Executive Producer. He became a familiar face on Travel Channel, hosting Bert the Conqueror from 2010 to 2011 and again in 2016, and Trip Flip from 2012 to 2015.

In 2012, he launched his popular ‘Bertcast’ podcast. His literary work, Life of the Party: Stories of a Perpetual Man-Child, was published in 2014. He also made multiple appearances on Comedy Central’s This Is Not Happening between 2015 and 2017, and released his Showtime special Bert Kreischer: The Machine in 2016. The comedian built a significant streaming footprint with Netflix, releasing his special Bert Kreischer: Secret Time in 2018.

His next Netflix special, Bert Kreischer: Lucky, is slated for release in 2025.
