Bobby Petrino

Bobby Petrino, a decorated football coach, has transitioned from collegiate and NFL coaching roles to an influential figure sought for his offensive strategies, currently serving as interim head coach for the Arkansas Razorbacks. After earning NAIA All-America honors twice as a quarterback and leading Carroll College to three Frontier Conference championships in 1981 and 1982, Bobby Petrino embarked on a distinguished coaching career marked by offensive innovation. Beginning in 1983 as a graduate assistant at Carroll College, he quickly ascended through assistant roles, including Offensive Coordinator positions at Carroll College (1985-1986) and Idaho (1990-1991), Quarterbacks Coach at Arizona State (1992-1993), and Offensive Coordinator/QBs Coach at Nevada (1994). As Offensive Coordinator at Utah State (1995-1997), his 1996 offense set school records for total offense and passing yards.

His reputation for high-octane offensive systems made him a sought-after coordinator, leading him to Texas A&M as Offensive Coordinator in 2023. In November 2023, Petrino returned to the Arkansas Razorbacks as Offensive Coordinator, a role he held until September 2025 when he was named interim head coach.
