Bomani Jones is an American sports journalist, host, and commentator, known for his work with ESPN, HBO, and his successful podcast, ‘The Right Time with Bomani Jones,’ offering a brand voice that is incisive, topical, and deeply analytical. After launching his media career as a music and pop culture critic for platforms like AOL and ESPN.com in 2004, Bomani Jones quickly established himself as a distinct and incisive voice in sports and culture commentary. He expanded his footprint into radio, hosting ‘The Three Hour Lunch Break’ and ‘Sports Saturday with Bomani Jones’ in Raleigh from 2008 to 2009, followed by the launch of ‘The Morning Jones’ from Durham in 2010.
