Brett Dobson

Brett Dobson is a professional lacrosse goaltender for the Utah Archers and Georgia Swarm, known for his leadership on the field and advocacy for diabetic athletes. After becoming the first recruit in St. Bonaventure University’s lacrosse program history in 2018, Brett Dobson established himself as a dominant collegiate goaltender over his four seasons. He set multiple school records, including Most Saves in a Single Season with 252 and the Highest Save Percentage in a Single Season at 66.5%.

Bonaventure player ever drafted into professional lacrosse. The same year, he was drafted 11th overall by the Georgia Swarm in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) Entry Draft. Dobson rapidly became a key player for the Swarm, completing his first NLL season in 2023 as the runner-up for the NLL Rookie of the Year Award and earning a spot on the All-Rookie team. During this inaugural NLL season, he played in all 18 games, recording an impressive 555 saves with a .779 save percentage.

He continued his contributions to the national team in the 2023 World Lacrosse Championships, where he earned a silver medal. Building on his consistent high performance, Dobson further cemented his international pedigree by winning the World Lacrosse Box Championships with Team Canada in 2024. As a current goaltender for both the Utah Archers and Georgia Swarm, Dobson continues to be a highly marketable talent, known for his leadership and game-changing defensive skills in both indoor and outdoor professional lacrosse.
