Brian Moorman

He began his professional football career in 1999, signing with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent, before joining the Buffalo Bills in 2001. Moorman solidified his reputation as one of the league’s top punters during his significant tenure with the Buffalo Bills from 2001 to 2012, and again in 2013. His exceptional performance led to two Pro Bowl selections in 2005 and 2006, along with First-team All-Pro honors in both of those years. His consistent excellence was further recognized with his inclusion on the NFL 2000s All-Decade Team and the Buffalo Bills 50th Anniversary Team.

In 2007, Moorman signed a landmark $10 million contract extension with the Bills, making him one of the highest-paid punters in the NFL. He also executed a 19-yard touchdown pass as a holder in 2008 and achieved a career-high total punting yards with 4192 in 2009. He briefly played for the Dallas Cowboys (September 2012) and was with the Pittsburgh Steelers (April 2013) before re-signing with the Bills in October 2013. After a distinguished 14-year professional football career, Brian Moorman was released by the Buffalo Bills in August 2014, officially announcing his retirement the same year.

Throughout his career, Moorman uniquely holds the distinction of being the only member of the NFL’s 2000s All-Decade Team never to have played in a postseason game. Post-retirement, Moorman has actively transitioned his dedication to community and business ventures, leveraging his high-profile career for impactful initiatives. Demonstrating his ongoing commitment, Moorman is the founder of the P.U.N.T. Foundation, a non-profit organization providing critical support and resources to children in Western New York battling life-threatening illnesses.

Concurrently, Moorman has forged a successful career in the real estate sector, serving as a Senior Global Real Estate Advisor, applying his disciplined approach and strategic acumen.
