Television actor Brian Thomas Smith is known for his appearances in popular shows such as The Big Bang Theory, Two and A Half Men and Happy Endings.
Smith’s career started with numerous appearances in commercials and advertising campaigns, including for high profile brands such as Pizza Hut, Coors Light, Budweiser, and Audi. In 2005 he starred in reality television show The Amazing Race 7, in which contestants compete to travel around the world. Soon after he started to appear in dramas and sitcoms, including starring in an episode of Two and Half Men, and TV movie The 12th Man. This led to more castings for television, most famously a recurring role on The Big Bang Theory. Smith starred in the programme in 11 episodes over the course of nine years, going on to appear in other shows such as A Good Knight’s Quest, The Indies, and Casual: The Series. In 2012 the now well known star featured in four short films, again raising his profile and securing his reputation as a strong and talented actor. These included Lucy in the Sky with Diamond, Surprise, Hot Neighbours and Concrete Blondes.
Most recently, Smith has continued to be cast in television shows, with appearances in The Neighbourhood in 2019 and 9-1-1: Lone Star in 2020. He has been cast in well over 100 TV commercials, and is now one of the most widely recognised stars in America.
