Few reality television arrivals have reshaped their franchise as quickly as Bronwyn Newport, who joined Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in 2024 despite never having seen a single episode of the series beforehand. Born in São Paulo on 10 September 1985 to father David and mother Marge, she holds citizenship in Brazil, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and grew up between San Francisco and the Hague. Her path took an early turn when she was suspended from Brigham Young University at 19, after which she built a career in finance working as an assistant at a bank trading desk.
Newport’s creative identity found its footing in fashion. She transitioned from banking into fashion blogging, building a distinctive voice around bold, maximalist style that would become her visual signature. During the COVID-19 pandemic she completed a degree in art history, deepening the cultural fluency that now informs her work. In 2024 she co-produced the Broadway revival of Cabaret and collaborated with BedHead PJs on a limited edition pajama collection, extending her aesthetic from the page to the stage and the marketplace.
Her momentum has only accelerated. Newport co-produced the Broadway production of The Queen of Versailles, hosted the Daily Front Row Fashion Media Awards at New York Fashion Week, and joined Reality Hot Seat, the NBC Sunday Night Football simulcast on Peacock, as a fashion correspondent. In April 2026 she was announced as a guest judge on the 11th season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.
Beyond the screen and stage, Newport channels her influence into philanthropy and the arts. She serves on the boards of Ballet West and KultureCity, co-chaired Ballet West’s Spring Soirée in June 2025, and with her husband co-sponsored a gala that helped save the Laurie Beechman Theatre and West Bank Cafe from closure.
