Anthony Norman

Anthony Norman is a performer who has established a career across stage and screen. His training includes a BFA in Musical Theatre from Millikin University, providing him with a strong foundation in performance. Early in his career, he engaged in Chicago’s theater scene, performing at venues such as Drury Lane and Porchlight Music Theatre, while also presenting solo shows at Davenport’s piano bar. He is a multi-instrumentalist proficient in piano, guitar, saxophone, clarinet, flute, ukulele, bass guitar, and accordion.

Norman’s career includes notable roles on Broadway and in national tours. He was a member of the Original Broadway Cast of “The Prom.” He later undertook national tours, playing Oscar and understudying Jack Kelly in “Newsies,” and later taking on the lead role of Evan Hansen in the First National Tour of “Dear Evan Hansen.” His performances in these major productions have been recognized for his vocal talent and ability to convey emotion.

Beyond stage work, Norman has also participated in film and television projects. His film credits include “Newsies Live!” and “Love…Reconsidered.” On television, he has appeared in NBC’s “Happy’s Place,” HBO’s “Mare of Easttown” alongside Kate Winslet, and “Chicago Med.” This progression demonstrates his versatility and commitment to artistic endeavors in various media. He continues to perform in leading roles, including his recent work in Los Angeles theater productions like “Pump Up The Volume” and “Reefer Madness.”
