Television personality and retired Olympic gold medal winner Caitlyn Jenner is known for her appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Jenner was born William Bruce Jenner, and was assigned male at birth. In 2015 she came out publicly as a trans woman, and has since undergone a high profile transition to live as Caitlyn. She has been praised for her bravery when undergoing her transition, and for bringing trans issues into the spotlight in the media and news. She has appeared in a reality show I Am Cait, which followed her life as she transitioned and came to terms with her new life, as well as appearing on the cover of Vanity Fair with the caption ‘Call Me Caitlyn’.
As a teenager, Jenner was a talented athlete, going on to compete in the 1976 Montreal Olympics where she won the gold medal in the decathlon event. Off the back of her Olympic success, she launched a television and film career, starring in Learn to Read, The Apprentice, The Weakest Link, Murder She Wrote and The Bonnie Hunt Show. In 2007, Jenner made her first appearance in the long running reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, alongside Kris Jenner and her children. Jenner has achieved huge success as a television personality, business woman and now inspirational transgender public figure. She continues to star in TV shows and appear at award ceremonies, high profile events and on Hollywood red carpets.
