Cam’Ron Harris

Cam’Ron Harris, born in Opa Locka, FL, established himself as a highly-rated running back from Carol City High School. He was recognized as a consensus four-star prospect by ESPN, 247Sports.com, and Rivals.com, and ranked among the nation’s top running backs. Harris committed to the University of Miami, where he would go on to have a notable collegiate career. During his time at Miami, he demonstrated consistent performance and leadership on the field, contributing significantly to the team’s offense from 2018 through 2021.

His collegiate career at the University of Miami saw consistent progression and key milestones. In 2018 as a true freshman, Harris showed flashes of his potential, contributing to the team’s rushing attack. His role expanded in 2019, making three starts and finishing second on the team in rushing yards with 576 yards and five touchdowns. The 2020 season marked a turning point as he became a full-time starter, leading the Hurricanes with 643 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns across 11 games. He recorded multiple 100-yard rushing games, including a 134-yard performance against UAB and another against Louisville, showcasing his ability to impact high-stakes games.

In his final collegiate season in 2021, Harris started the first six games, accumulating 409 rushing yards and five touchdowns before a season-ending injury. Despite the injury, he maintained an average of 5.8 yards per rush, with a long run of 57 yards. He also contributed in the receiving game, adding 11 catches for 119 yards and one receiving touchdown, including an 83-yard touchdown reception. After his collegiate career, Harris began coaching at Chaminade-Madonna Prep, while actively exploring options for a return to professional football, aiming to leverage his experience and skills at the next level.
