Carey Mulligan, a British actress known for her versatile roles, has built a distinguished career spanning stage and screen, earning critical acclaim and significant industry recognition. After earning a BAFTA Award for Best Actress and an Academy Award nomination for her leading role in the 2009 independent film ‘An Education,’ Carey Mulligan solidified her status as a prominent talent. She had made her professional stage debut in 2004 in ‘Forty Winks’ at the Royal Court Theatre, followed by her film debut as Kitty Bennet in Joe Wright’s ‘Pride & Prejudice’ in 2005.
