Cedrick Wilson

Cedrick Wilson Jr. was born on November 20, 1995, in Memphis, Tennessee. He began his football career at White Station High School, where he excelled as a quarterback. In his senior year, he completed 142 of 239 passes for 1,973 yards and 22 touchdowns, adding 7 rushing touchdowns. These efforts led his team to the Class 6A semifinals and earned him 6A All-State honors, second-team 16-AAA All-District recognition, and Offensive Player of the Year from the Touchdown Club of Memphis.

Wilson continued his collegiate career at Coffeyville Community College, where he became a key wide receiver. As a freshman, he recorded 629 yards and 10 touchdowns, earning All-conference honors. His sophomore season saw him post 66 receptions for 1,045 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns, securing second-team Junior College All-American honors. He then transferred to Boise State University in 2016. During his junior year, he tallied 56 receptions for 1,129 yards and 11 touchdowns, despite playing with torn ligaments in his left ankle. His senior year at Boise State was equally productive, with 83 receptions for 1,511 yards and seven touchdowns, earning him First-team All-Mountain West honors and the 2017 Las Vegas Bowl MVP award after a 10-reception, 221-yard, one-touchdown performance against Oregon.

Wilson was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. After an initial season sidelined by injury, he became a regular contributor, particularly in 2020 and 2021. In 2021, he achieved career highs with 45 receptions, 602 yards, and 6 touchdowns, often serving as a deep-ball threat. In 2022, he signed a three-year, $22.8 million contract with the Miami Dolphins, where he played for two seasons before joining the New Orleans Saints in 2024. During his time with the Saints, he demonstrated versatility by throwing a 21-yard touchdown pass and continued to contribute as a receiver before returning to the Miami Dolphins in 2025.
