Stuart O’Keeffe was born on September 15, 1981, in Limerick, Ireland, and grew up in Nenagh. His early culinary interest was fostered by cooking alongside his mother and aunt, leading him to pursue a formal education. He attended the Dublin Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2004, where he earned a B.A. in Culinary Arts. Following his graduation, O’Keeffe moved to France to further his culinary training, working in a small restaurant in Bordeaux and specializing in high-end French cooking. He later relocated to Napa Valley to work as a hotel chef before settling in Los Angeles in 2004.
In Los Angeles, O’Keeffe established himself as a private chef for prominent clients, including Sofia Vergara, Sharon Stone, Owen Wilson, and members of the Kardashian family. His television career began with appearances on Food Network’s “Private Chefs of Beverly Hills,” which premiered in December 2009. This exposure led to his own show, “Stuart’s Kitchen,” broadcast in Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa, and features on OWN’s “Home Made Simple.” In 2016, O’Keeffe released his first cookbook, “The Quick Six Fix,” offering accessible recipes. He has also engaged in various culinary collaborations and brand ambassadorships, serving as a spokesperson for Tupperware and Asiana Airlines.
