Chris Brochu

Christopher M. Brochu was born on June 25, 1989, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, USA. He later became known for his acting and musical contributions. Early in his career, Brochu appeared in TV series such as ‘Unfabulous’ and ‘Zoey 101’ in 2007. He further expanded his filmography with roles in ‘Solar Flare’ in 2008 and ‘Soul Surfer’ in 2011, where he played Timmy Hamilton. In the same year, he took on the role of Ray Beech, the charismatic lead singer of the band Mudslide Crush, in the Disney Channel movie ‘Lemonade Mouth’, performing the songs “And the Crowd Goes” and “Don’t Ya Wish U Were Us?”.

Brochu continued to build his acting career with appearances in various television series. He was cast in recurring roles in ‘Melissa & Joey’ as Roman Maizes in 2011 and ‘The Vampire Diaries’ as Luke Parker from 2014 to 2015, appearing in seasons 5 and 6 of the show. His television work further included episodes in ‘Awake’ and ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ in 2012, and ‘CSI: New York’ in 2013. In 2016, he played Dylan Wallace in two episodes of ‘Shameless’ and Preston Mann in two episodes of ‘Notorious’.

More recently, Brochu has taken on roles in ‘The Magicians’ and ‘Dynasty’ in 2019, and ‘The Rookie’ in 2020. In film, he appeared in ‘Dawn Patrol’ in 2014, ‘Baja’ in 2018, ‘Recon’ in 2019, and ‘Zero Contact’ in 2022 as Sam Hart. His most recent work includes playing Brenton in ‘Station 19’ in 2023 and Dennis Hopper in three episodes of the miniseries ‘The Big Cigar’ in 2024. Chris Brochu was also the former lead singer-songwriter of the band Fall into Faith and has contributed as a composer for short films like ‘For You’ (2016) and ‘iPromise’ (2013).
