Chris Cole

Chris Cole solidified his reputation early in his career by executing groundbreaking skateboarding tricks, including a 360 flip, Switch Frontside flip, and Backside 360 ollie down the iconic Wallenberg High School staircase in San Francisco. He further showcased his extraordinary skill with a Backside 360 Kickflip down the Carlsbad gap in California and the Martin Place Amphitheatre in Sydney, Australia. Most notably, Cole successfully performed a Backside flip, Switch Frontside flip, and a Backside 360 ollie down Philadelphia’s ‘Love Park’ fountain, feats extensively featured in his influential ‘Transworld In Bloom’ and ‘Fallen Ride the Sky’ video parts. His competitive prowess quickly led to significant accolades, earning him his first Thrasher Magazine’s prestigious ‘Skater of the Year’ award in 2005.

His formidable record also includes victories in other esteemed competitions such as Back to the Berg, the DC Copenhagen Pro, and the first three rounds of the Maloof Money Cup. Expanding his influence beyond competition, Cole became a shareholder of Zero Skateboards in 2011, following 13 successful years as a team rider. In the same year, he founded his skateboard clothing company, Omit Apparel, which operated until late 2012. His competitive career saw a resurgence in 2013, as Cole won two more gold medals in Street League Skateboarding at the X Games in Munich and New Jersey.

He has been a co-owner of Reign Skate Shop in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, a prominent hub for the skateboarding community. Additionally, Cole co-owns Cult, a thriving BMX company that actively sponsors a team of riders, showcasing his continued involvement and influence across multiple action sports. His sustained impact as both a premier athlete and a savvy business owner underscores his valuable marketability and expertise in action sports culture.
